I have two new developments that I hope will make it easier for people to learn about what I am writing, reading, and teaching. One is a new website at anneboydrioux.com. (The old URL will forward here.) It is now set up to feature all of my work. This means minimizing the blog, which was before the most prominent feature of my site.
Even more importantly, I have set up a newsletter that I will send to subscribers about once a month. I have come to the conclusion that it will be the best way to communicate with people, better than blogging or social media, which is so hit-or-miss. I will still blog as well, but I will make sure that newsletter subscribers learn first about things like the new covers, when the books are available for sale, who is writing the forward to the stories (which I’m very excited about, by the way), etc. I’ll be making some fun announcements right away in the early May issue.
Sign up here.
For the newsletter, I am envisioning updates, announcements, and sneak-peaks of content, leading up to the publication of the Woolson biography and collection of her stories. I will also add interesting reading I have done in the previous month about the status of women writers today and the history of women writers. Hopefully those of you who read my blog now as well as new visitors to my site will be interested in receiving my newsletter. I’m really looking forward to writing it!
